Funeral: 11 a.m. Thursday at Greenlawn Funeral Home in Branson, Mo. Burial: Full military rites in Missouri Veterans Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Craig W. "Butch" Mikesell was born Oct. 29, 1944, in Chicago, Ill., the son of Marvin Allen and Ruth Doris Peckett Mikesell. He was of the Lutheran faith. He worked for General Motors in Arlington for 27 years before moving to the Reeds Spring area in 1996. He was a business owner and avid pool player. He was an Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War.
Survivors: Wife, Palalu Reynolds Mikesell of the home; son, Mike Mikesell of Euless; mother, Ruth Hollingsworth of Decatur; sisters, Sharon McMikel of Reno, Nev. and Betty McFall of Fort Worth; and three grandchildren.
