Dan McElvany Obituary

Dan Neal McElvany, a retired Fort Worth firefighter, loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, cousin and uncle, passed away Saturday, Sept. 24, 2016, at the age of 81. Celebration of life: 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 29, at Brown, Owens & Brumley's Joe B. Brown Memorial Chapel. Interment: Dan will be laid to rest in Greenwood Memorial Park. Visitation: 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Dan was preceded in death by parents, Floyd and Ola Mae McElvany; first wife, Carol Jean McElvany; and second wife, Linda Faye McElvany. Survivors: Dan will be lovingly remembered by his sons, Robert McElvany and wife, Diania, and Randy McElvany and wife, Carol; daughter, Tammy McElvany Marr and husband, Craig; stepsons, Trey Kerr and wife, Kelly, and Brett Buck; 12 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and many friends.
