Arlington, Texas - Dan Rollins, 70, of Arlington, passed away on November 5, 2023, in Arlington, Texas. Dan was a storyteller extraordinaire and the best friend and neighbor anyone could ask for. He will be missed by all who loved him, and the sun shines a little less brightly without him with us. Dan was born in Rapid City, South Dakota to Richard Lee and Joan Elisabeth Rollins on Sept. 24, 1953. His family moved many times due to his father being in the Air Force. Dan went to school at Moreno H.S, in Sunnymeade, CA. He moved to Texas and married the love of his life, Brenda Pickering, on April 3, 2003, in Arlington, Texas. He worked as a Sale Rep for Dealers Electric for 20+ years. Dan is preceded in death by his parents, Richard Lee and Joan Elisabeth Rollins and his beloved wife Brenda. Dan is survived by his Stepchildren Julie (Richard) Miller, and Chris Comfort, Brothers David (Joyce) Rollins, and Richard Bryan Rollins, Mother-in Law Nellie "Jane" Pickering, and Grandchildren Payton Jane Miller, Ryan Elaine Comfort, Dani Lynn Miller, Codi Lee Miller, and Charly Rae Miller.
