Darius was such a kind man. We had a wonderful friendship, I have known his family almost 30 years. We used to laugh in the hallway and also had many, many serious conversations. He was someone I always knew I could count on and share things with and I could trust him. I had a wonderful 2 hour visit with him and a visit with Linda too about 2 months ago, we talked about everything. We had great laughs, a few tears and such a loving visit! I got caught up on both Chris and Melissa and the Granddaughters, oh how special they are! I have such wonderful memories of the 19 years I worked with Darius and he will always be in my heart! Sending Linda, Chris and Melissa my love, sympathy, and many prayers! I know he is now resting in peace and sharing jokes in heaven and everyone is laughing so hard! And of course the Texas Longhorn colors are vibrant and glowing! Darius I will see you again.....

I am saddened to hear of Darius's passing, however that sadness is tempered by the knowledge that he is in the presence of our Lord. Kay and I extend our deepest condolences to Linda, Chris, Melissa and the entire family. Having served alongside of Darius on the deacon board at Glenview, I can tell you that his love of the Lord was always on display and his gentle nature made him a joy to serve with. You will be missed my friend. Prayers and blessings extended to the entire Hatchett family.
