Fort Worth, Texas - Elsie "Dee" Sheffield Helm, 94, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 19, 2025.
Funeral Service: 12 p.m. Saturday, December 6, 2025, in Greenwood's Live Oak Chapel, 3100 White Settlement Rd., Fort Worth, Texas 76107; with a visitation beginning at 11:30 a.m. Reception: 1 - 3 p.m. Saturday, December 6, 2025, in Greenwood's Live Oak Room.
Born the youngest of seven, she was the last surviving member of the Sheffield siblings. Dee shared 59 wonderful years of marriage with her beloved husband, Bobby Ray Helm.
A lifelong fan of the Texas Rangers and Aggie football, Dee loved cheering for her favorite teams. Her greatest joy was her family.
Dee was preceded in death by her husband; daughter, Dinah; and two sons-in-law.
She is lovingly remembered by daughters, Debi Levins and Dee Lynn Aguilar; along with grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family extends heartfelt gratitude to Community Healthcare of Texas - Providence Hospice for their compassionate care.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or a charity meaningful to you.
