August 28, 1945 - June 10, 2021
Hurst, Texas - Dennis Randall Harter, 75, passed away on Thursday, June 10, 2021, at Harris Methodist H.E.B., due to Parkinson's disease complications.
After leaving the US Air Force in 1972, Dennis resided in the Fort Worth area. After twenty-plus years of service, he retired from Birdville ISD in 2015. Dennis loved playing games and spending time with family and friends.
Dennis is preceded in death by his wife, Debbie Harter. He is survived by his daughter Rebecca Johnson and husband Chris; step-son Lance Sharber and wife Angela; grandchildren, Nathaniel Johnson, Alaina Johnson, and Avery Sharber; brother, Merl Harter and wife Linda; and nephew, Martin Harter.
A memorial will be held at the National Cemetery in Grand Prairie at a future date. If friends or family would like to attend, please email your name and contact information to: [email protected]
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations are made in his name to the Parkinson's Foundation.
