Donald Buchanan was born March 2, 1941, in Scott City, Kan., to James and Marie Buchanan. He was raised in Healy, Kan.
Don started working with aircraft in 1962. In 1983, he moved to Possum Kingdom Lake and worked for PK Industries and later worked at Kelley Weatherford Airport.
Survivors: Children, Lance, Wade, Orin Buchanan and Elizabeth Burnett; eight grandchildren; brother, Kay Buchanan; sisters, Ann Dunn and Janet Rife; and former wives, Judy Ballinger and Soledad Marin.
