Visitation 11a.m. to 1 p.m. A Frankfort resident for fifty-two years, he was a chemist for Jim Beam (National Distillery), a member of St. Paul Methodist Church and the University of Kentucky Alumni Association. He was a Kentucky Colonel and an avid UK fan who loved traveling. Survivors include his wife Gaile Lewellen; daughters Allison Givan, Natalie (George McMakin, III) Lewellen and Whitney (Robert) Pulcini; son, Brian (LeeAnn) Lewellen; brothers William J. (Linda) Lewellen, III, Terrill (Sherri) Lewellen; five grandchildren Jacob, Daniel, Joshua and Caroline Lewellen and Thomas Givan.www. Ljtfuneralhome.com.
