Dural Ball Obituary

Dural Edwin Ball, 48, a security screener at D/FW International Airport, died Thursday, July 8, 2004, at a Mid-Cities hospital, following a long, courageous battle with diabetes.

Funeral: 10 a.m. Monday at Normandale Baptist Church, 120 N. Judd, White Settlement. Burial: Laurel Land Cemetery in Fort Worth. Visitation: 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Dural was born Nov. 17, 1955, in Norfolk, Va., to Huston and Eleanor Ball Sr. Dural was a graduate of Brewer High School, a loving husband, father and friend. Dural was hard-working, honest and unselfish. He met his wife, Connie, while they both worked at Six Flags Over Texas. From their marriage came the "apple of his eye," Emily Ann, now 2 years old. He was preceded in death by his father, Huston Ball Sr. and his sister, Tammy Renee Ball.

Survivors: Wife, Connie Ball; children, Emily Ann, Amanda, Justin; and stepchildren, Wes Lynch and Andy Coleman; mother, Eleanor Ball; brothers, Mark Ball and Huston Ball Jr.; and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Much Blessing out to his family and friends. He will be greatly missed. He was a very loving and caring man, great at his job, and with people. Anyone who came in touch with him will always remember him. He will not be easily forgotten. God has recieved another Angel!
