Mother~Your heart is always filled with love for everyone you know~you ask so little for yourself~you reap less than you sow~It's time your goodness is proclaimed for all the world to hear~There is no Mother more beloved than you, my Mother Dear..I wanted to call you today to say hello, you are gone now, but you will never be forgotten. Sister Nelson was a remarkable spirit. She was one of my students at the Mt. Olive Baptist Institute. Even at her tender age 80plus she still wanted to know more about Jesus. She shared many stories and testimonies with me. I shall forever cherish the theology books that she left with me. Rest Sister Nelson, servant well done....

One of my earliest memories of growing up in Providence, was Sis. Nelson rejoicing in God's goodness louder than anyone in the place. It gave me chills, because I knew that her shouts had definitiely reached the Throne Room of Heaven. Well, Sis. Nelson, you are seated at the throne now, I know that you are still shouting louder than anyone, except maybe my grandma, Fannie Harris, but now you are shouting for a different reason, the sheer of joy of literally being in His presence. It must be wonderful. Good job, say hello to my family there and my condolences to your family here. Peace.

From the Grays, Kyser, Kneeland, and Fletcher families

Sister Edna Nelson, my Spritual Mother, will be missed. Now she is singing the "Old 100's" hymns, just a little bit louder. When I transition we will be praising Our Lord. She was instrutmental in leading me to serve all the positions at Providence Baptist Church. Especially, Announcing Clerk, I was going to help her which lead to a more than five year service.

My mother Sister Ella Grays Kneeland remembers her from Baptist Hill. Mom still talks about how good of a woman she was. Now mon is sick and being taken care of by:

Patricia Kneeland sends love and condolences,

Bernard Grays sends prayers,

Charles E. Grays, Jr., Esq. and family sends love and condolences,

Dr. Peter E. Grays,MD, and family sends condolences, and

Michael Fletcher remembers SBI and sends condolences.

This is message from the Grays, Kyser, Kneeland and Fletcher families.

Sister Nelson, my Spiritual Mother is still singing the Old 100 Hymns just a little louder. She has helped me to grow in the Lord. Holding the different positions at Providence Baptist Church were wholly encouraged by her. Especially being the Announcing Clerk, I was just helping her out for one Sunday which became a five years plus of service. I am proud to know that when I transition we will have a good time praising Our Lord.

My mother, Sister Grays-Kneeland knew her from Baptist Hill and still talks about how good of a person Sis. Nelson was. Now, she is poor health being taken care of by:

Patricia Kneeland, my younger sister sends her love and symphanty.

Bernard Grays misses her and sends prayers.

Charles Grays, Sr, Esq. and family sends condolences.

Dr. Peter Grays and family gives condolences.

Michael Fletcher remembers the days of
SBI.

From Pastor Michael J.Crayton and the Providence Church Family we will miss Sis . Nelson but we accept Gods will. For to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. And they that wait on the Lord shall renew their strength. We love u family and may God keep you in perfect peace. We are praying for you.

Brothers, we do not want you to be ignorant about those who fall asleep, or to grieve like the rest of men, who have no hope. We believe that Jesus died and rose again and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him. According to the Lord's own word, we tell you that we who are still alive, who are left till the coming of the Lord, will certainly not precede those who have fallen asleep.

Thank you granny for the words wisdom you shared with me throughout the course of my life. Love your Grandson Anthony Gudyen
