Edythe Sesnick Obituary

Edythe Elliston Green Sesnick WESTWORTH VILLAGE--Edythe Elliston Green Sesnick passed away peacefully, Sunday, Sept. 2, 2018. SERVICE: Honoring her wishes a private graveside service was conducted for the immediate family. MEMORIALS: In lieu of flowers, to honor her life with a bequest to a charity of choice, will be appreciated. Edythe was born in Dallas, Texas, Sept. 25, 1922, to Harvey and Cleo Elliston and became a lifetime resident of Fort Worth at a very early age. She loved dancing in all forms and continued dancing for most of her life. She married the love of her life, Howard Nelson Green, a poplar vocalist in 1947, and they were proud parents of two wonderful sons, Steve and Tim. Sadly Howard passed away seven years after their marriage. Thirty years later, Edythe married John Sesnick, and they spent 20 years together, traveling and enjoying retirement until he too passed away. They were longtime members of St. Andrews Episcopal Church. The family would like to extend a heart full "thank you" to Manuela Ramirez and Sonja Rajic for their care and devotion to Edythe. Edythe was preceded in death by her two husbands; her beloved son, Steve; her parents; a brother; a sister; and a nephew. SURVIVORS: Son, Tim; niece, Marilyn Moore; sister, Helen Adams; nephew, Mike Felker and wife, Julia, of Tyler; five grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
