I will be eternally grateful to Elena Sandoval for creating the beautiful and most caring person in her precious daughter Yolanda. Although I did not know Elena, I do know of some of the great memories Yolanda holds in her heart. Elena was among the best people on earth. I pray for your strength and for God to heal your sad heart Yolie and all of your family. Love you,

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.
Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."
It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man."
God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.
When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.
I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.
There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.
If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.
So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.
And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

My Mother was an inspiration to us all. Today, on Mother's Day, I remember her way of not letting us go...each time we would drive off from visiting her, she would walk out and bless us as we drove away, making the sign of the cross in our direction to guide us. Please take time to read the wonderful article on her life today (Mother's Day - 5/11/08) by David Sedeno. A great tribute to my Mom and our family. Thanks to all of you who took time to sign this guest book. It means a lot to all my family.

To The Entire Family Of Elena Sandoval:
Our thoughts and prayers are with you Jesse as well as all of your families. Elena was our Mother's best friend, they were Thursday noon Mass buddies. Their routine was to meet at St. Patrick's Cathedral, attend Mass, pray the rosary, and then go to the Swiss Pastry Shop for lunch every Thursday. Mama passed away in August of 2007. Elena remained our comfort, she would check on us to see how we were getting along. She mourned Mama also, and now they are in heaven together. She had Masses said for our Mama, as we will for her. We love her so much, she was a great comfort to us and would always tell us that "everything will be alright". We had great time when we went to the church of miracles "San Juan del Valle" several times. She will always be in our hearts. My sister and I will remember her always saying; "I Love You". Elena siempre estara en nuestros corazones, tenia un corazon de oro. Sentimos mucho la perdida de Elena. Le damos gracias a Dios por su amistad y su amor profundo.

I never met Mrs. Sandoval.
But, I will say without a doubt that the firemen were hero's who rescued her and how they cared for her. I still can't believe the love and care they performed while attending to her. It just left me speechless of so many men who poured their hearts out while they revived Elana to be transported to the hospital. My prayers for the family and those who were touched over this tragic loss. God's home is safe, kind, and without pain. Through faith, she's now in Gods hands and in a very safe place..

This was my daughter Analicia's great grandma and was just like a grandma to me as well. She was the sweetest, most generous, loving person I have ever known. She will be missed by my entire family. She treated us no differently than her own blood and for that I will be eternally grateful. I love you Grandma. Watch over us from heaven and help to bring us closer to one another like you always wanted.

"She Will Be Remembered"
As we share the stories and the memories of how she lived her life and how very much she meant, may you find comfort -and, throughout this difficult time, may you also know the deep sympathy and concern that is felt for you and all your family.
God is our refuge and strength...Psalms 46:1
You Are Not Alone,I will not leave you comfortless:I will come to you. John 14:18
May you find comfort in God's words and in the knowledge that others sympathize with our family's great loss.

Though the past few days have been rough for me and all of my family, we all know for certain that Gandma Elena is in a much better place. If anyone could be certain that one person would go to heaven, anyone who knew grandma could tell you it would be her with out even having to think. She was a funny and very caring person. She may not have had alot to give, but if you needed something she would be willing to give it to you no matter what. I Love Her so much and I'm going to miss her 24/7.
