Frederick, Maryland - It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Emily (Lee) Rogers Hasenzahl. Lee departed this life, surrounded by her children and grandchildren, after a valiant six-year battle with ovarian cancer. Lee is survived by her devoted children Anne (Kent), Cathy, David (Brenda), Walter (Megan) and her cherished grandchildren Zack, Mary, Laine, William and George. The family extends their deepest gratitude to Lee's remarkable friends and family for their unwavering support throughout her illness. A funeral will be held in Massachusetts later this year. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that you perform an intentional act of kindness for someone in need, embodying the spirit of compassion that Lee exemplified throughout her life.
