Eric Everett Obituary
Funeral: 5 p.m. Thursday at Lucas Funeral Home, 1321 Precinct Line Road, Hurst. Visitation: The family will receive friends 4 to 5 p.m. Thursday.
Eric chose to follow the path less traveled. He enjoyed tattoos and piercings, and had a passion for skateboarding that reflected his approach to life in many ways. Those who knew and loved him are fortunate and will miss him greatly.
Survivors: Father, George Everett and wife, Sandra; mother, Lynda Ruth Everett; sister, Karen Louise Coffey; nieces, Tonnie and her husband, Tim, Shawna and K-Lea; nephews, Alex and Zayden; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family.

Eric, I will miss you. I'm so glad we were able to catch up. We had lots of laughs together, and seemed to share the same sense of humor. I know there is peace for you now, but accepting that you're gone is very difficult. You were loved and I hope you know how much. Even though you were struggling, you had such a sweet smile on your face. I will miss you. Rest in peace

Eric, you will be loved and missed greatly. you touched so many lives i will always remember the good times we had together and the adventure that our life was. your smile and your warm heart will never be forgotten. i hope that you have some peace now and are looking down on us and smiling while riding your skateboard across the sky. i will love you always and will cherish the memories forever.

To my nephew Eric--I have such nice memories of you. One special memory was during your last visit to Michigan. We were able to laugh and talk together...you were always smiling and oh so adorable. I will cherish my special memories of you. I am so grateful that my last words to you were that I love you and your last words to me were also "I love you." Rest in peace, darling Eric. You were so loved.

I was so sad to read of Eric's passing and wanted to tell the Everett Family that you are in my thoughts and prayers. It seems like just yesterday you were bringing him home as a newborn baby and Karen was bouncing down the street on her pogo stick :) I'll always cherish the memories of the Spring Lake fun!

Eric, words cannot express how sad I am right now. I was so lucky to have had you in my life. Our childhood memories together is what I will cherish always. You never want to open the newspaper and find a familiar name or face... but, I did that very thing today. I haven't seen the Everett family in many years (since we all grew up together on Spring Lake), but have fond memories of babysitting this sweet little baby Eric and his sister Karen. Eric sure turned out to be a handsome guy... and I know your hearts are heavy today. Please know that "old friends" are thinking of you all and praying for God to surround you with His love in the days to come.

I only saw & talked with you the times you visited along with Megan @ Grandma's house. You left quite an impression. I'm not so sure that you knew how big an impact you made with everyone that knew you. Some people are alive & forget to live--but you lived life and had fun! You were a joy to know & you'll be missed by all.
