Funeral: 2 p.m. Wednesday in Parker-Ashworth Funeral Home Chapel. Burial: Myrtle Cemetery in Ennis. Arrangements are under the direction of Parker-Ashworth Funeral Home of Kaufman.
Evelyn was born June 3, 1914, in Rockford, Ill. She passed away in Kaufman on Nov. 13, 2005. Evelyn was raised in Illinois and graduated from Northwestern University. She married George Harrell Chase in Waxahachie on Sept. 23, 1954. She moved to the Dallas area in the 1940s. Evelyn and her husband owned and operated Chase Plumbing in Fort Worth for several years. Evelyn had lived in Tool for nine years. She was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church at Cedar Creek Lake. Her husband preceded her in death Aug. 14, 2005; a daughter, Mimi Glover, preceded her in death in 1981.
Survivors: Son, Bill McLean and his wife, Carolyn, of Carrollton; stepson, Billy Gene Chase of Montana; grandchildren, Kim Porter, Kathy McLean and Shawn Glover; four great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
