Floyd Decker Obituary

Floyd Henry Decker, 75, a Lockheed Aircraft assembler, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 14, 2004.

Funeral: 1:30 p.m. Saturday in Greenwood Chapel. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Greenwood Funeral Home.

Memorials: May be made to the American Heart Association, 2401 Scott, Fort Worth, Texas 76103.

Floyd was born Aug. 17, 1928, in Mount Pleasant. He was a resident of Aledo for the past 25 years. Floyd retired from Lockheed Martin in 1994 after 40 years of service.

One of his all-time favorite pastimes was fishing with his sons and telling them his latest joke.

Survivors: Sons, Ray Decker and wife, Paula, of White Settlement and Bobby Decker and wife, Monika, of Burleson; grandchildren, Gerhard Decker of Burleson and Breann Decker of Gainesville; brothers, Bud Decker of Mount Pleasant and Roy Decker and wife, Vera, of Lake Jackson; sisters, Ruth Neal and husband, O.C., of Temple, Jean Strickland of Denver, Colo., and Betty Evans of Burleson.
