Gary Gerson Obituary

Gary L. Gerson, 59, of Titusville, Fla., died unexpectedly of a heart attack. He went to be with our Lord on Friday, May 28, 2010. Celebration of life: A service is planned for Saturday, June 19, at the Great Outdoors Church, Titusville, Fla. Gary was born in Alton, Ill., on June 30, 1950. He retired from the Fort Worth Department of Transportation. Survivors: His wife of 39 years, Phyllis; mother, Norene; stepfather, John Halavonich; sisters, Marie Elaine Kidd and Lois Neal; and best friend, Gene Steele.

Gary and I shared a friendship through the school days. I will always remember his sense of adventure, his loyalty to his friends, his love for Phyllis, and his energetic spirit. I am deeply saddened by his loss.
