I only spoke with him a few times during my life but each visit confirmed to me what a great man he was.

I was deeply saddened to hear of the loss of your father. May God grant your family peace during this time of grief. I met Mr. Beggs in 68 or 69 while working on the ranch near Girard and was around him a few more times over the next 3 or 4 years He always treated the hands with respect. Saddest of all is the realization that America seems to produce fewer and fewer men of this caliber. I knew the reputation of the man and feel it incumbent upon me to be more like him when I deal with others. He is an inspirational legacy and we are blessed to know his story.

I met Mr. Beggs, III while a new employee at Continental Natl Bank 30 years ago. I will never forget his kindness for a young kid just starting out in the business world.

I was sorry to read of Mr. Begg's passing.He was a very kind man and a gentleman. He taught his son's to be also. I just got to wait on him at the Post Office but he was always so kind. Heaven has another angel and there is another star in the sky. My prayers are with you and may the Lord take you in His arms and comfort all of you.
