I will miss seeing Gordon in the garden on a daily basis. He was such a joy to see in the garden, always had a smile to share. Gordon boasted about our membership to all of our guests. He will be missed by us all in the garden. My thoughts and prayers go out to you, his family.

I offer my deepest condolences to Gordon's wife, family & friends. I am so very sorry for your loss. Gordon was a special treasure here at the Garden and will be extremely missed by myself and the other gardeners who have grown accustomed to seeing his friendly face almost on a daily basis when the weather was good & even when it wasn't. Just this year he told me how he witnessed & narrowly missed injury by the falling of one of our large and loved oak trees during a severe storm that hit the Garden one afternoon. What a day that was. Gordon was a special soul and I ask God to be with him on his peaceful journey and to give the family the strength needed to carry through. Rest in Eternal Peace Gordon...
