Guadalupe Willars Cruz

September 13, 1945 - April 9, 2024

Fort Worth, Texas - Guadalupe "Lupe" Willars Cruz, 78, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, peacefully passed away on April 9, 2024.

Service: 1:30 p.m. Friday, April 19, 2024, at Saint Patrick Cathedral. Interment: Mount Olivet Cemetery. Rosary: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, April 18, 2024, in Mount Olivet Chapel.

Guadalupe was born on September 13, 1945, in Kyle, Texas. He was a very kind and generous man with a contagious laugh and a great sense of humor. He was incredibly family-oriented and cherished spending time playing outside with his grandchildren, and later with his great-grandsons. Lupe had a sweet tooth and enjoyed giving candy to all his grandchildren.

In his career, Lupe was the proud owner of a cabinet shop for 32 years. He always took great pride in his work and was known for his craftsmanship and dedication.

Lupe was preceded in death by his father, Ruperto; mother, Eloisa; sister, Epifania; and brother, Luis.

Survivors: Loving wife, Linda; children, Guadalupe Jr. (Raquel) and Terry Ann (Steve Jr.); grandchildren, Michael (Christina), Jordan (Yvette), Brandon (Yolanda), Stevie Rhiann; great-grandsons, Michael Jr., Mason, Maddox, and Julian; brothers Jesse (Elba), Johnny (Juanita), Tony (Stella), Joe; sisters, Adela (Felipe) and Lupia (Bobby); and numerous nephews and nieces.

He will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but his memory will forever live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
