Harold Winston Obituary

Harold S. Winston, a former longtime Fort Worth resident, passed away peacefully Saturday morning, Nov. 28, 2015, surrounded by his family and friends. Mr. Winston was 88 years old. Service: 10 a.m. Monday in the Beth-El Section of Greenwood Memorial Park with Rabbi Ralph Mecklenburger officiating. Born May 15, 1927, in San Jose, Calif., Harold was the son of Nathan Edward and Fannie Bronston Winston. He had a long career as a petroleum engineer in Fort Worth. He treasured his involvement in Beth-El Congregation and the Fort Worth Club, both of which were very important parts of his life. Harold leaves a legacy of beloved family members, good friends and business associates in Fort Worth, as well as dear friends at the Legacy at Willow Bend in Plano. He was preceded in death by his parents and his beloved wife, Dorothy, who died in 2013. He is loved dearly by his children, grandchildren and friends, and will be missed.

I was fortunate to work on the same floor where Harold had his office in the Club bldg.,he was very friendly,quick with a smile and offered me a cup of coffee every morning.Harold was a true gentleman who I never forgot because of his kindness.My condolences to his family.
