Fort Worth, Texas - Hattie Lou Hernandez, a caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend left this world suddenly on May 26, 2021 at age 69.
Funeral: 12 p.m. Monday, June 21, 2021 at Mount Olivet Chapel. Interment: Mount Olivet Cemetery.
Hattie was born in Big Spring, TX to Adolph and Estanislada Arista on September 6, 1951. Hattie was the eldest daughter of seven, whom she all adored. In 1967 she married Gilberto Hernandez and started her family. She became a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Hattie loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, she gathered around the kitchen creating delicious meals for them. Hattie dedicated her life to helping others, even when her body was tired, she pushed on and did it joyfully.
Hattie was preceded in death by her parents, Adolph and Estanislada Arista; brother, Tony Arista.
She is survived by her husband, Gilberto Hernandez; daughters, Tanis Smith, Devonia Saville and Crystella Marzili; son, Abram Hernandez; grandchildren, Richard Cantu, Joshua Cook, Jacob Cook, Christopher Cook, Jessica Hernandez, Jasmin Galaviz, Tristian Guerrero, Gynavie Guerrero, Samantha Guerrero, Victoria Marzili and Hillary Marzili. She was blessed with fourteen great-grandchildren.
