My heart rejoices with great memories that I have of Bro & Sis Mac. I met & fell in love with them in Azle as a young teen. Growing up learning to love Christ, love music, and love of life. Sis Mac was the most loving and kind Christian Women that there will ever be and the footprints that she has left on this earth should be followed. Gary & Carol you will always be my favorite ministers and will always have a special place in my heart.

Gary, Carol, Cheryl and Dino, We were both sad and happy to hear of the home-going of Sister Mac. We can just picture Helen and Boyd singing in the streets of Heaven. We will always have wonderful memories of "Brother Mac" and "Sister Mac" at Christian Center in Fort Worth. They were wonderful pastors, leading by example and teaching God's word. We will miss them on earth but know we will join them in Heaven some day. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you and the families. Dean and LouAnn Radke, Fort Worth

Gary, Carol, Cheryl, Dino and family, our love, thoughts and prayers are with you today as you say your final goodbyes to a Very Special person in your lives.
Today is a day of celebration and joyous memories as family and friends gather in Franklin, Tennessee, to say their final farewells to Mimi. Hers was a life well lived and given wholly to God and his service. As you lay her to rest beside her wonderful companion, Boyd, also your dedicated and respected Dad, you can rejoice that two such special people are together again in the presence of their Lord and Savior, Jesus, who they both adored, worshipped and served all of their lives.
As a young child I remember attending services at Gospel Lighthouse and hearing them sing and preach. Our family enjoyed hearing them sing on J. C. Hibbard’s radio program. I remember Mimi as a very beautiful lady elegantly dressed as she stood and sang beside your Dad. They were a stunning couple, and it was easy to see their devotion to each other and to the Lord.
When they were pastoring in Lubbock, we would occasionally see them at W. B. Nowlin’s Battle of Songs quartet concerts at Will Rogers.
A closer relationship developed when they started Christian Center in Haltom City and my Dad was pastoring Christian Temple. With each family involved in our own respective churches, we mainly saw each other at restaurants and out shopping. I had the privilege for a short period of having Boyd and Helen in my home when they would bring Michelle for piano lessons until they got a good piano teacher at their school.
The really close relationship, however, was in Branson after Dino started his magnificent shows. Mimi, Fred and I had more time to spend together. Mimi and I so much enjoyed shopping, which was her forte. She was my “buddie’” and my confidant – my friend. The three of us had much great fellowship over wonderful meals. There were those special times when we could all be together and fellowship around the table. Fred and I cherish those times and look forward to more of those times even though Mimi will have to look down and join us from Heaven. However, she will surely be too busy with greater things there! She loved us and considered us as part of her family. She has been a Very Special part of our lives!
The members of the McSpadden family are genuine, devoted Christians who daily live in honesty and integrity. Their impeccable example of Christianity is a pattern established for them many years ago by Boyd and Helen McSpadden. It is an example greatly to be cherished.
Fred and I saw her this last week in Branson and on Friday said a final goodbye here on earth until we see her again in Heaven. We will certainly miss Mimi and all the wonderful times with her, but she has given us some GREAT memories!

My thoughts and prayers are with all of your family in your loss. What a blessing she has been to so many in her lifetime and the pleasure she must have had in seeing and hearing her children in their ministries. I have also enjoyed your music and programs throughout the years. May GOD continue to bless each of you.

There's dancing in the streets of Heaven today as Sister Helen and Bother Boyd are reunited. How glorious it must be. She was a beautiful lady, a wonderful teacher, and a great friend and mentor. I learned and grew so much under their pastoral leadership at Christian Center, Fort Worth. She was a great example to follow. As related in the Wright's text above, I first got to know them at the Gospel Lighthouse in Dallas while they were pastoring in Lubbock, then how blessed we were when God led them to Fort Worth to start a church which rose from an old movie theatre building to the beautiful sanctuary that remains on 28th St. today. Gary & Carol, Cheryl & Dina and family members, my thoughts and prayers are with you all today as you celebrate the home going of this beautiful angel.
