He will always be "Top" to me. He was my First Sergeant at Ft Hood from Sep 72 to Feb 74. I worked directly under him and he was one of the most memorable people I have ever known. A good soldier and a good man. God bless him and his family.

I will always remember him as Sgt. Bell from my high school days in JROTC at MacArthur in Irving. Certain people make an impression on others that sticks for life. Sgt. Bell was that person. Everyone had the utmost respect for this man. It is no surprise that he ended up a minister to others, that's just the kind of man he was I shed a tear in my heart when I read about his passing.

To the Bell Family. I did not have the opportunity to meet Pastor Bell. I work with one of his Granddaughters Mrs. Lemmons. I am encouraged by the life he led, 58 years of Holy Matrimony and a legacy of a family trusting God. May your faith and beautiful memories bring you peace in the days to come.

To Sis. Zelma Bell and Family, my heart goes out to you during this time of loss. You and Pastor Bell have given so much too so many through the years. Words cannot express how much your family has blessed me and my family. Pastor Bell always encouraged me with his words and his smile. Sis. Bell I was always honored in being a speaker at the Zelma Bell Women's Conference. You have been such an inspirations to me. Please know that you and your family are loved and that the love you have shared with others through the years lives on in each of us. We are so blessed to have been granted the opportunity to be apart of your lives. Your leadership, love and guidance has given us a glimpse of the beauty and love of God. I thank God for the Bell Family for sharing their hearts with me and I will forever share mine with all of you. To God Be The Glory!!! Please know that your loss is shared with all of the hearts and souls that Pastor Bell and you have touched throughout the years. His words of encouragement and smile will always be remembered. As a young lawyer returning home to attend church with my late mother Sis. Gennetter Burns, Pastor Bell always encouraged me in my every endeavor. Sis. Bell you [and my mother] showed me by your grace and poise how to be a christian wife and mother. I truly appreciate all the love and guidance that you and Pastor Bell bestowed upon me and my family. I was always honored to participate as a guest speaker at the Women's Conference named after you. If there is anything I or my family can ever do for you and your family, don't hesitate to call on us. We will be with you as you go through this time of loss. I thank God for Pastor Bell and Sis. Bell. I have been blessed by knowing each of you. Your family has touched my life with such love and admiration. I pray that God allows me to do the same for you.
