I extend my condolences to Iris and her families. My thoughts and prayers are with you in this sad time. I had a brief encounter with Iris when we took our Camp Kids to the Log Cabin Village last summer. We enjoyed listening to her talk about what life was like back in the olden days. I know she will be greatly missed.

I'm saddened by her passing. My son interviewed her at LCV for a high school history project. Little did we know then that he and she had the same birthday.

I will miss you Iris. I will never forget your laughter, advice and lovely outlook on life. The blanket you embroidered for my daughter, and the pillows you made for me, are treasured mementos I will keep forever. I am glad you are at peace and with the Lord.
