J.W. Lindsey Obituary

Jim Lindsey, 64, passed away Sunday, Dec. 1, 2013, at a Wichita Falls hospital. Service: 2 p.m. Thursday at Mountain Valley Funeral Home. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Jim was born Sept. 14, 1949, in Fort Worth to J.W. "Jay" Lindsey and Grace Berry Lindsey. He was a retired conductor for the Union Pacific Railroad, with 38 years of experience. Jim was a graduate of Joshua High School and attended Sam Houston State University. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors: Loving wife of 41 years, Debbie Carlton Lindsey; daughter, Kelli Manning and husband, Tommy; son, Cade Lindsey and wife, Melissa; grandchildren, Tristan, Parker, Brooklyn, Jace, Jayden and Talon; sister, Darla Lindsey; brother, Gary Lindsey; and many extended family and friends.
