He was born Jan. 27, 1942, the son of Aurther and Anne Zarro Farrell, in Detroit. He was a graduate of Romeo High School, a veteran of the U.S. Navy and a graduate of Western Michigan University. He retired from Lockheed Martin missile division in Grand Prairie in 2003.
Survivors: Brothers, Robert Farrell of Michigan, Tom Farrell and wife, Julie of Michigan; sister, Julianne Bishop and husband, Mark of North Carolina and Rosemary Jokinen and husband, Dennis of Michigan; and many nieces and nephews.
