I'm so sorry for your loss, Gary. My own father died in 2004 and I miss him every day, so I know how difficult it is to lose a beloved and respected parent.

The Malone family and their home were safe haven during my teenage years. They provided support, guidance, many good times and what I only now recognize as a lot of love. To Mabel, Don, Gary and Susan my condolences and thanks for your friendship. I am so glad Jim was able to live such a rich life. Sarah Bickel (Flagstaff,AZ)

We wanted to let the Malone family know that our thoughts are with you. Although we did not know Dr. Malone, our association with his daughter, Susan, has shown us what kind of person he raised, and therefore what a wonderful man he must have been.

Please take solace within each other in this time of sorrow. Family (and extended family through our animals) is the most important thing in this world. We know you will miss him, but cherish the memories of all the wonderful times you shared.

I went down to Bluebonnet Suite at J.L. West (my Mom was up on Cardinal) to visit Dr. Malone and spoke with him about the good ole swimming days and got some great smiles from him !! My thoughts and prayers are with ALL of you at this time--you will cherish all the wonderful times you had with him for the rest of your lives . . .

We wanted to let you all know that our thoughts are with you. Matt sure remembers the haunted houses that were made during Halloween. What fun memories!

As a high school student I consulted with Dr. Malone on a professional basis.
He was a great help in my trials of the time in the late 50's and early 60's.
I have always had great respect for his professionalism.

He was my friends' and teammates' father, a mentor, and an example. Later in life he became a friend. I will miss the great talks we had when I visited Ft. Worth with his warm welcome and open arms. May God give each of you comfort at his passing knowing your sorrow is shared by so many who will miss him also.

Hi Malone Family,
Danny's mom called me today and told me about your Father passing away. I know it has been a long time but I remember all the good times Danny and I would have going over to their home. He is such a fun man and great to be around. My prayers are with you all.

Tenderly may time heal your sorrow
Gently may friends and family ease your pain
Softly may peace replace heartache
And may beautiful memories remain and give you strength at this difficult time
