Hi my precious son, the grieving never goes away. I hold you in my heart and will see you one of these days. So hold fast I´ll be there once again my precious son. I grieve everyday for you and I´ll always remember that call I received from the Dr. informing what happened to you. OMG worst news a mother can ever receive.

I came to know Jimmy through my uncle Jimmy Sherwood. He was a great man, and we spoke often after my uncle passed away last year. He was a great guy and softened my loss through lots of conversations. I will miss him dearly, but I know that him and my uncle Jimmy are having a great time on the other side. You will be dearly missed.

I met Jimmy while working at Red Lobster in '79 while he was still in the Air Force. Then reunited at GD/Lockheed. I remember one time he drove his Silver Chevy Silverado shortbox up and down the dam at Benbrook lake. What fun. He was a good man and I will miss him. Prayers out for Jimmy and his family.

I met Willingham at the boat races years ago. he was one of the leaders of wine-o racing team. You always knew when Willingham was there , you would hear that distinctive laugh from many pits away and you knew they were having a good time. As the years went by he was at all the races and always giving encouraging words to all of the racers. I know the races just wont be the same with out him.

Jimmy and I grew up together in edge-o-lake until he went into the service. He was a good friend we put many miles behind us on owe motorcycles, and even then he was always looking for that adrenalin rush. And that is living. RIP buddy I will miss you.

I would like to extend my deepest sympathies to the family and loved ones of James “Jimmy” Willingham. My thoughts and prayers are with you in this time of loss. I hope you can find peace and love in the comfort of God's hands. May the blessings of His peace be upon all those who knew and loved Jimmy. My prayers are with you as you struggle to deal with the loss of a beautiful person. Jimmy has been and will continue to be missed by all the people that knew him.
