Funeral: 2 p.m. Saturday, April 3, at First Baptist Church of Irving. Interment to follow in Bourland Cemetery, Keller.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Janie Hunter Children's Fund, c/o US Bank, N61 W6312 Turner St., Cedarburg, Wis. 53012; or a charity of your choice.
Janie was born May 12, 1955, in Fort Worth. She was well-loved and a devoted Christian mother, wife, sister and friend. Her career in engineering led her to move to Wisconsin, where she lived for the past eight years. She was an accomplished musician, both in voice and piano. She was preceded in death by her mother, Mrs. Geneva James.
Survivors: Her husband, Eli Hunter; children, Erin, Sarah and Matthew of Cedarburg and Adam Hunter of Ohio; her father, Mr. Willard James and his wife, Betty, of Lake Kiowa; sisters, Cassandra James and her husband, Mark Bierner, of Austin, Kathy White Kelly and her husband, Larry, of Fort Worth; her brother, Will James and wife, Janet, of Irving; along with many loving nieces, nephews and close friends.
