Jasper McGuire Obituary
Funeral: 10 a.m. Thursday at Central Baptist Church in Mansfield. Burial: Rehoboth Cemetery in Arlington. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Blessing Funeral Home in Mansfield.
He was preceded in death by his son, Robert Lee; wife of 66 years, Ruthie Lee Stowe McGuire; mother, Effie; father, James McGuire; and brothers, Ray and Alton McGuire.
He was employed at LTV for many years. He retired as a rural route postal carrier.
Survivors: Son, Donald Ray and wife, Jan; grandson, Bowen, all of Arkansas; granddaughters, Sherre Mueller of Burleson, Karen Broad and husband, Doug; great-grandson, Kiley; great-granddaughter, Kara Broad, all of Columbus, Ind.; and sisters, Gladys Mathesen and Louise Mathesen, both of Houston.

I am so sorry to hear about J.R. and Ruth. I wish would have know it in time to pay my respects. They were always nice to me and I use to stop and visit when I could. Alot of memories. Karen it was so nice to see you when I visited Ruth at the hospital. Thank you Donald for giving me their new address. I am sorry I did not have a chance to visit them.
