We are so sorry to hear about cousin Rusty. I remember him from Uncle Ollie and Aunt Allene. Our mother was Maggie Ruth Godsey Huffman. We would go visit them when they lived around the Hemphill area. This was many years ago. I remember Ollie and Allene worked at a drugstore or something like that. We would go with them and always have so much fun! They were very good to us, and if I remember correctly Rusty and his wife and kids lived next door. Then I remember Uncle Ollie and Aunt Allene running a station in Joshua and we would visit them there also. We lived in Burleson at the time. From the Godsey family of the boys and girls, only two are left Aunt Maxine and Aunt Bessie.
Anyway Rusty came to my dad's funeral last Jan, and I remember then thinking how fast time flies. Rusty was always nice to our family. I just wanted to let you know our thoughts are with you and he is with the rest of the Godsey clan now.
Love always,
Linda Godsey Huffman Goins (one of the twin girls)
Mary Godsey Huffman Vargas (the baby of the family).

We will miss our friendship with Jerry. We have been neighbors for 16 years and shared a lot of good times. I will miss the walks around the circle for the exercise and the good conversations. He was always there if you needed him to mow the yard, watch the house while we were out of town or just a simple thing as sign for a package from the UPS delivery man. He will be missed by all in the El Lago park, he always had a good word for everyone that came by the mail boxes and waved at all who passed by. We will miss you always.

So sorry for your loss. I will always remember how Jerry could make me laugh and how much he dearly loved his mother.
