Jerry Jack was born Oct. 25, 1941, in Amarillo. He graduated from Carter-Riverside in 1959, and graduated from Texas Christian University in 1964, where he was an outstanding defensive back. He was a member of Sigma Chi Fraternity, past president of the TCU Frog Club and a member of the TCU Lettermen's Association. Jerry Jack was an avid TCU fan. He served as a past president for ARC of Texas.
He loved to sing. In fact, in high school he sang with a group of friends, who called themselves "The Danes." Just recently they all got together to sing one more time for old friends and the TCU homecoming.
Jerry Jack was greatly loved and will be dearly missed by his family and many lifelong friends. His family would like to extend sincere appreciation and gratitude to the nursing staff at Baylor All Saints Hospital, downtown Fort Worth, and Dr. Nazarian, Dr. Leavens and Dr. Treadwell. Special thanks to his Friday morning Bible class for their unfailing friendship.
Jerry Jack was preceded in death by his mother, Lillian Watson.

My deepest condolences to the family and all of his friends. I went to Carter-Riverside with Jerry Jack, and he was admired by all who knew him. His smile is a vivid memory of our high school days, as well as all of the great football games we attended while Jerry Jack was playing. I know he will be sorely missed. My prayers are with you.
