Jimmy J. "Bo" Ricketts, 67, of Bedford went to be with the Lord Thursday, Dec. 15, 2016, after a lengthy battle of cancer surrounded by his family. Funeral: 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at Memorial Park Funeral Services. Interment: Shannon Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Memorial Park Funeral Services. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Community Hospice of Fort Worth at https://www.chot.org/about/donate-to-us/ Bo was born Jan. 31, 1949, in Lepanto, Ark. He retired from the USDA after 30 years of distinguished service. Bo documented his life through his passion, which was photography. He was the owner of BJR Photos whose lasting logo was "We Capture the Action, Now and Forever," and that is what he exemplified. Bo was preceded in life by his dad and dearest Mom, Sue. Survivors: He will be dearly missed by his loving wife, Betty; daughters, Michele Haley (Kevin), Monice Finney (Warren); grandchildren, Spencer, Jacob, Tyler (Brittany), Justin (Jamie), Colton, Kirsten; great-grandchildren, Colby and Baby Nolan; sisters, Charlotte Smith (Dwayne) and Jean Craig (Michel); and many nieces and nephews. He was an amazing husband, loving Dad, Grandparent, Uncle, Brother and outstanding mentor. Bo will remain in our hearts; his love for photography has left us memories that will last a lifetime.
