John Witten Obituary
Funeral: 10 a.m. Friday at Handley Baptist Church, 6801 Church St., Fort Worth. Burial: Rendon Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Shannon Rose Hill Funeral Home.
Memorials: Donations may be made to Gideons International Association.
Mr. Witten was preceded in death by his grandson, T.J. Witten.
Survivors: Loving and devoted wife of 50 years, Jean Witten of Fort Worth; daughter, Donna Witten of Fort Worth; son, Darrell and wife, Diana Witten, of Shawnee, Okla.; brother Neil and wife, Mickey Witten, of New Jersey; granddaughter, Amanda Witten; numerous nieces and nephews; and many close friends.

Condolences to the family of a friend of my childhood. Life seems so short when you consider that it was only a short time ago when we were playing and were concerned only about our next adventure.
