Joie Torres Obituary
Memorial service: A celebration of his life will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Celebration Fellowship Church in Fort Worth. Joie will be laid to rest next to his beloved father Raul Torres in California.
Joie Torres was a 20-year employee to BNSF railroad. He was an avid hunter, honor roll Ph.D. student, and had a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. He was a perfect match to his wife whom he loved to spoil, a compass to his children, a hero to his grandchildren and a strong arm to anyone in need. He was loved by all for his servant's heart.
Survivors: His wife, Linda; daughters, Amy and Nicole; son, Blake; son-n-law, Ben Coan; grandchildren, Andrew, Hannah and Isaac; mother, Dora Torres; brothers, Adam and Dennis; sisters, Lynelle and Pansy; sister-in-law, Carmela; brothers-in-law, Jaime and Gary; nieces, Brittney, Danielle, Alisha and Jennifer; nephews, Adam II and Tim; extended family, Dave Davis and many friends.

Joie and I worked together in BNSF's National Marketing group for a few years. He was always ready to take on assignments and to offer his thoughts and suggestions. I know he will be missed.

We were so saddened to hear about Joie. I know that that you and your family will greatly miss him. We also know that in your sorrow you are also rejoicing that he is with our Heavenly Father.
