Judy Kalbas Obituary

Judy Kalbas JOSHUA -- Judy Kalbas, beloved daughter, wife, mother, grandmother and servant of Christ, went home to be with Jesus on March 12, 2018. She was born in McKinney Dec. 26, 1945, to parents, Barr Carson and Aline Hudson Terrell. FUNERAL: 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 14, 2018, at Northpointe Church. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 13, 2018, at Mountain Valley Funeral Home. Interment: Caddo Cemetery. Pallbearers are David Freeman, Paul Keeton, Leonard Keen, Danny Johnson, Steve Finsted and Harold Hoskison. A 1964 graduate of Polytechnic High School in Fort Worth, Judy worked as a secretary and bookkeeper for Lone Star Gas and Westland Construction in Burleson. A 40-year resident of Joshua, her passion was serving people which she did for the last nine years at Northpointe FBC Joshua as office manager. She is preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, James Andrew Terrell. SURVIVORS: She is survived by her husband, Robert of Joshua; son, Dr. Darin and wife, Julie of Midland; two daughters, Dr. Karen Cotter and her husband, Don of Dallas, and Dr. Winona Wood of Joshua; grandson, Joshua of Midland; numerous beloved extended family members; and her FBC/Northpointe family whom she loved so deeply including precious friend and co-worker, Mandy and her family who she loved as her "adopted daughter."
