Julia Hardwick Obituary

Julia Juanita Hardwick, 80, loving wife, mother and grandmother, went home to be with her Lord on Tuesday, March 1, 2005, at her home.

Funeral: 1 p.m. Friday at Shady Oaks Baptist Church in Hurst. Officiating will be Dr. John Bobo and Pastor Ronny Marriott. Burial: Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Forest Ridge Funeral Home in Hurst.

Memorials: In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of choice.

Julia Juanita Hardwick was born Feb. 4, 1925, in Roanoke. She graduated North Side High School in 1942. Juanita was a homemaker and was a member of Shady Oaks Baptist Church for almost 40 years. She taught second-grade Sunday school and was director of sixth-grade Sunday school for many years. Always a cheerful, energetic, loving friend, devoted mother, sweet mother-in-law and passionate grandmother, Juanita will be greatly missed.

Juanita was preceded in death by her loving husband, Walter Frank Hardwick, and a grandson, Eric.

Survivors: Sons, Jeffrey Hardwick and wife, Sandy, and Stanley Hardwick and wife, Joy; daughter, Paula Bain and husband, Alan; 10 grandchildren; cousin, Carolee Gillen; and numerous friends and extended family members.
