Mass of Christian Burial: 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Stephen Catholic Church. Burial: Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Thompson's Harveson & Cole Funeral Home, where a vigil service will begin at 7:30 p.m.

Kathleen was born March 6, 1947, in Philadelphia, Pa., to Joseph and Catherine Gallen Loftus. She graduated from Archbishop Prendergast High School of Upper Darby and met her husband, John, when they worked together in Philadelphia right across from the Liberty Bell. They were married in 1969.
Kathy and John were stationed in Germany, moved to Houston in 1982 and then to Weatherford in 1986. She served as an administrative assistant for Citi Assurance for 19 years where she is remembered as a reliable hard worker and a friend to all. She was a member of St. Stephen Catholic Church and a volunteer for Meals on Wheels. Her family and her faith were always her focus.
Survivors: Her husband of 38 years, John Crowther; children, Kelley Hebel and her husband, Henry, of The Woodlands, Timothy Crowther of Dallas and Alison Rhodes and her husband, Bryan, of Argyle; grandchildren, Emily, Jonathan and Lauren Hebel and William Rhodes; brothers, Joseph Loftus and his wife, Elaine, of Drexel Hills, Pa., James Loftus and Charles Loftus of Upper Darby, Pa., and John Loftus of Broomall, Pa.; and sisters, Marie Pellegrino and her husband, Prisco, of New Town Square, Pa., and Loretta Lynch of Norfolk, Va.

I worked with Kathy back when the company was called American Health & Life. I recall how she talked proudly and passionately about her children and husband. I am so sorry for your loss.
