I am so sorry. I was just informed of Kent's passing. Kent was a dear friend
back in 60's and '70's. He lived behind us on Norwood Lane in Woodland West. My brothers and I along with the
rest of the neighborhood kids ran around for years. What fun we had growing up. I reconnected with Kent a few years ago but our planned get together will have wait until we meet again.
God Bless his family and friends. May he rest in peace.

Kent and I attended C. C. Duff Elementary, Bailey Jr. High School and Arlington High School together. He was always a sweet guy. I met his wife Melody when Chris and my daughter Amy went to Fielder Road Early Childhood Center together. Michael and my son Bobby, were one year apart. They all became fast friends and I was a stay-at-home mom and babysat Chris and Michael. Then Melody decided to become a stay-at-home mom and she had Heather and Brooke. What a marriage made in heaven. Their love was true and it was a joy to witness. The last time I remember seeing them was at a Colt High School game with their daughter Brooke. The memories of this family are too many and could not be put into words. Kent was an awesome dad and Melody was a wonderful mom. I love all of you and apologize that I did not know in time to attend the funeral. Please know that you are all forever in my heart and know that your husband and dad is not in a mansion where the streets are paved with gold. Kent, I love you. Rest in peace in Jesus' arms.

Please call on your friends, family, co-workers, and church friends any time you feel the need. When you look up at the moon, he will be looking down on you with love. Rest in peace, Kent. I love you.

May peace be with you and your family at this time of grief. While I haven´t seen or spoken with Kent in years, I have great memories.

I'm so grateful that I had the pleasure of recently reconnecting with you, Kent, one of my most treasured friends from our high school years. I will miss our nostalgic talks and the tales of decades since. I hope you get lots of fly fishing done in Paradise.
My deepest condolences to your beloved Melody, children, and grandkids.
