Larry Salyer Obituary

Larry Salyer, 71, passed from this life Thursday, Sept. 1, 2016, at his residence. Funeral: 10 a.m. Saturday at Couts Memorial United Methodist Church. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Galbreaith- Pickard Funeral Chapel. Larry was born April 29, 1945, in Gordon to Troy and Elverna Salyer. He was the parts manager for the Collision Center at Jerry's Auto Group, member of the Lima 3-7 Marine Reunion Group VFW, and Couts United Methodist Church. Larry was a military veteran proudly serving in the U.S. Army and then voluntarily enlisted in the United State Marine Corps for a tour of duty in Vietnam. Survivors: Larry is survived by his wife, Karen Salyer of Weatherford; daughters, Karey Massey and husband, Chad, of Brock, Candy Wright and husband, Mark, of Willow Park; sisters, Janice Blackwell of Eastland, Tracey McMillian of Dublin, Sharon Johnson of Stephenville; grandchildren, Madison, Cooper, Lane, Lily; and numerous other relatives and friends.
