Larry Gene Snider, 75, passed away Sunday, Feb. 22, 2015, at home with his loving family by his side. Funeral: Solemn Pontifical Requiem High Mass, 1 p.m. Wednesday March 4, at St. Timothy's Church, 4201 Mitchell Blvd., Fort Worth. The Right Rev. Keith L. Ackerman, SSC Bishop, vicar of St. Timothy's, will officiate. Burial: Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park in Colleyville. Visitation: The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Lucas Funeral Home in Hurst, with vigil prayers at 7 p.m. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to St. Timothy Church, Fort Worth, or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Larry was born July 5, 1939, in Jacksonville to J.O. and Gladys Snider. He was raised in Dallas and graduated from W.H. Adamson High School. He attended Baylor and Arlington College. He married Barbara Railsback on Nov. 7, 1959. He was preceded in death by his parents and a granddaughter, Lauren. Survivors: They have three children, Laura Ellen Riner, Brian James Snider and Suzan Elaine Holmes. They have eight grandchildren, Tyler, Karleigh, Mason, Nataleigh, Graham, Reid and Ella. He is also survived by his sister, Kandace Lindsay; a nephew; two nieces; and six great-nieces.
