Laura Sisco Obituary

Laura H. Sisco, 82, passed away Sunday, Oct. 23, 2011. Funeral: 11:30 a.m. Tuesday in Mount Olivet Funeral Home Chapel. Interment: Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Mount Olivet Funeral Home. Laura was born March 24, 1929, in Weatherford to Betty and Stephen Austin Hall Sr. She worked as an assembly line worker for Volkswagen for 20 years before her retirement. Laura was married to James C. Sisco on Aug. 17, 1946; he preceded her in death on June 29, 2010. She was also preceded in death by two children, James Richard Sisco and Mary Helen Sisco; her parents; and all her brothers and sisters. Survivors: Children, Carl Wayne Sisco, Patricia Lynn Sisco, Paula Kay Robertson and husband, John, Pamela Sue Wheeler and David Michael Sisco; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
