Arlington , Texas - Lawrence (Larry) Munsie Jr., 89, Arlington, TX, Nov. 21, 2022.
Born June 18, 1933, Brodhead, KY, to Lawrence and Florida Munsie. Larry's education included B.S. Landscape Architecture, Ohio State University; B.S. Civil Engineering, University of Texas; Masters of Public Administration, George Washington University. Served twenty-nine years in the U.S. Air Force and retired with rank of colonel. Received Bronze Star Medal, Vietnam. An avid golfer, he attend college on a golf scholarship and was a member of Ohio State University's 1954 Big Ten Championship golf team. Member of Arlington Great Southwest Rotary Club. Survived by wife, Jodie Munsie; sons Neal Munsie, James Risinger; daughters Kim Wintringham (Don), Emily McBride (Bob), Deborah Cummings; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; Sister Catherine Day; brothers Don, Jim, Gary, Terry. Predeceased by wife Mary (Jo) Munsie. Visitation Monday, November 28 from 6:00pm-8:00pm; service Tuesday November 29 at 10:00am. Moore Funeral Home, 1219 N. Davis Dr, Arlington, Texas
