Funeral: 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Morrison Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Randy Branson, pastor of First Presbyterian Church, officiating. Burial: will follow at Pioneer Cemetery.
Mrs. Layman was born June 4, 1921, in Paris, Ark., to the late George Allen and Lena L. Corley Hill. She married Raymond Guy Layman Dec. 26, 1939, in Branch, Ark. Mrs. Layman retired from Hub Machine and Tool after 26 years of employment as a bookkeeper.
Mrs. Layman was a member of Hudson Chapel Presbyterian Church and a longtime resident of Graham. She was preceded in death by a son, Malcom, in 1985.
Survivors: Husband, Raymond Guy Layman of Graham; son, Ronald Layman and wife, Ellen of Graham; sister, Juanita Powell of Ratcliff, Ark.; brothers, Marvin Hill of Seneca, S.C., Dwight Hill of Logansport, La. and Lindell Hill of Ratcliff, Ark.; and grandchildren, Ashley and Brady Layman.
