Lester Greenfeather Obituary
Funeral: 11 a.m.Thursday in White's Springtown Chapel. Interment: Annis Chapel Cemetery. Visitation: 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday.
Lester was born Sept. 21, 1927, to Lewis and Lou Ellen Greenfeather in Ramano, Okla. He was preceded in death by his wife, Leta Grace, and a daughter, Joyce Ellen Greenfeather.
Lester worked for General Dynamics as a supervisor in quality control.
Survivors: Sons, Jeffry Bevil of Burleson and Robert Greenfeather of Sallisaw, Okla.; daughter, Linda Deanna Vick of N.J.; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

In My Pocket
I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.
My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.
They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.
Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.
But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.

I have many memories of Gene and Grace on the river in NE Oklahoma while I was an "adopted" member of the Greenfeather family from 1985 - 1992. Thank you Gene for the all the downhome wisdom you liked to share. Linda Curbo, Euless, Texa
