Fort Worth, Texas - Linnie Rae Ward Churchill passed to her heavenly home on June 8, 2021. Not only was she beautiful, but she was a beautiful soul and will be missed by many friends and family. She was welcomed into Heaven by Jesus and her family and friends who went before her.
Funeral: 2:30 p.m. Saturday, June 19th in Greenwood Chapel. Interment: Greenwood Memorial Park.
Linnie Rae was born on August 10, 1933 in Fort Worth, Texas at Harris Hospital to Raymond A. Ward and Lucille (Mann) Ward. Her father died when she was 14 years old. She attended Paschal High School for two years before attending two years and graduating from the high school at Southwestern Bible School in Waxahachie, Texas in 1952. She then attended two years of college at Southwestern Assemblies of God University before working at Central Airlines as a Reservation Agent where she met Robert Churchill. They married on September 5, 1958.
Linnie leaves behind her husband of 63 years, Robert Churchill; daughter and son-in-law, Caroldean and Jim Hanke of Richardson, Texas; son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Jacqueline Churchill of Parker, Colo.; brother and sister-in-law, Randy and Teri Ward of Crystal Beach, Texas; plus nieces and nephews; and many, many friends all over the country.
Linnie will be greatly missed by family and friends.
