Lois Dreinhofer Obituary

Lois Dreinhofer, 90, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2003, at a local hospital.

Funeral: 2 p.m. Thursday in Edwards Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Richard Call officiating. Burial: Evergreen Cemetery under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home in Ranger.

Mrs. Dreinhofer was born Dec. 11, 1912, in Whitney. Her parents were Thomas L. and Elizabeth Shelton Bush. She attended school in Ranger and was a graduate of Draughn’s Business College. She married Joseph Henry Dreinhofer on July 3, 1942, and they traveled to different states and came back to Ranger in 1980. She was a homemaker and an artist. She also worked as a secretary. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Ranger.

Mr. Dreinhofer preceded her in death Feb. 2, 1992.

Survivors: Daughter, June Davis and husband, Bill, of Ranger, son, Donald L. Drinkard and wife, Ann, of Fort Worth; son, Arthur Dreinhofer and wife, Martha, of New Braunfels; son, Fred Dreinhofer and wife, Jeanne, of Brownwood; brothers, Durwood Bush of Fritch, Tom Bush of Fort Worth, J.M. Bush of Puerto Rico and Ron Bush of Fritch; sisters, Bernice Walthall of Ponca City, Okla., and Audrey Rose of Ranger; 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
