Funeral: 2 p.m. Tuesday at Bean-Massey-Burge Chapel in Grand Prairie. Burial: Southland Memorial Park in Grand Prairie. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Bean-Massey-Burge Funeral Home.
She was a loving and devoted mother and a caring grandmother.
Lola was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Shockley; her daughter, Darlene Purdue; her stepdaughter, Dovie Smith; and her sister, Eva Curtis.
Survivors: Son, Royce Shockley and wife, Sylvia; daughters, Montene Simpkins, Nedene Jimmerson and her husband, Rod, Sue Russell and her husband, Larry, Linda Harrington and her husband, Greg; 34 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; sister, Joy Goodwin.
