Marjorie Wilkins Obituary
Service: 2 p.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church of Benbrook; Interment: Benbrook Cemetery; Visitation: 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at Thompson's Harveson & Cole Funeral Home.
Marjorie was born Aug. 26, 1916, in Pottsville to J.M. and Novie Lacewell McPherson. A resident of Benbrook for the last 60 years, she was a charter member of First Baptist Church of Benbrook.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Nathan E. Wilkins Jr.
Survivors: Sons, Buck H. Wilkins and Jack D. Wilkins and his wife, Becky Scott; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; sister, Jimmie Dean Adcock; and nephews and nieces.

My parents, Dorothy and Floyd Briley, spent many happy Sunday afternoons playing dominoes with Marjorie and her husband during the 50's and later. It's been probably 45 years or more since I saw Marjorie, but I remember her "sunny" disposition well from those days and give Buck and Jack my sincere condolences.
